Alpha Kappa is currently in the middle of a massive fundraising effort, the goal of which is to raise enough funds for a complete renovation of the existing chapter house, and for significant additions to preserve the newly remodeled structure. The chapter house is deteriorating rapidly as it ages, and is in need of significant repair/renovation in the next few years to remain habitable and safe. If significant renovations are not completed soon, by the time we actually have the funding to complete renovations the house structure may be beyond repair. We cannot fund any renovations without your support, so please support us in this manner. Specifically, the funds will be used for the following:

Renovate existing structure
Major additions, possibly including an annex/common area (see below)
Scholarship programs
Brotherhood retreats

Hillsdale College also allows Corporate matching gifts, in which the amount that you donate to the Chapter will be matched dollar for dollar by your employer. ANNEX

Below is the drawing of the proposed annex. The location noted on the drawing was vetoed by the College administration (which has to approve any new construction of this magnitude) but other options for the annex location are being explored. At this point it is not certain that future plans will indeed include an annex, but the Active chapter would like to pursue this option to preserve any renovations to the interior of the house.
