Why Sigma Chi?—
I ended up at Hillsdale College as the result of a change of my life plans and a last minute decision. I knew little to nothing about Greek life, and never imagined joining a fraternity. Shortly after arriving on campus, I realized that the men with whom I chose to surround myself were brothers of Sigma Chi. They were “real” men: I found comfort in their presence, and felt a connection to them that was unexplainable. I waited until my second semester to join the fraternity, in order ensure that I was making the right decision. My only regret is that I did not join sooner. Since joining, I have been able to develop myself in a variety of ways, and I have attained a new level of friendship with my brothers that is unmatched in the associations I hold outside of the fraternity. I look forward to each day I have left as a member of this order, and I will continue to strive to serve the chapter and my brothers to the best of my ability.
What has been your favorite experience with Sigma Chi?—
My favorite memory as a Sigma Chi is the 2007 Christmas Party. During our caroling adventure around campus, some of the most random and hilarious events occurred. I remember laughing continuously with a few of the brothers for literally hours on end. I have memories from that night that will surely last a lifetime.
