Why Sigma Chi? —
I chose to pledge Sigma Chi because of the most striking characteristic of the House: The White Cross.  The first thing that you will see walking up to the front door of Alpha Kappa is a White Cross which stands 4 feet high on the lawn.  Our White Cross is the symbol of our ideals, and, as a House, we hold that up foremost in our lives.  That ideal life, and the practice of it by the Brothers, is why I chose Sigma Chi.

What has been your favorite experience with Sigma Chi?—
Being a part of the ritual from an Active standpoint is as much an experience as it is for a pledge.  The time, the effort, and the true meaning, are all visible and one cannot help but to deeply appreciate such beautiful, meaningful, work.  Well Sneak is up there too.  14 of us pledges went to Kyle Forti’s farm in Indiana and had a blast for a weekend.  I shot a running rabbit with a .22; the cat’s ate it..
