Why Sigma Chi?—
I entered the rush process totally undecided as to whether I would go Greek or not, let alone with any particular house in mind. Truth be told, this didnt really change until preference party. When I heard the standard of men that Sigma Chi looked for, I knew then and there that there would never be any other house for me. In those standards, I saw the values that I strove to achieve my entire life. They expressed everything that I wanted to be as a person and as a man. Sigma Chi was the only house that I ever put on a bid card. I found that the dichotomy of fun and high minded idealism truly reflected what I was searching for in a house and the people I wished to surround myself with. I have never regretted my decision.
What has been your favorite experience with Sigma Chi?—
It is hard to pick any one particular experience that I have had that is better than any others. My favorite moments have all been just hanging out with my brothers. Just being surrounded by men who have the same values that I do allows me to relax and truly enjoy whatever we may be doing at the time, even work.
