Why Sigma Chi?—
I chose to join Sigma Chi because I saw the lifelong training that I would receive through the sincere closeness of the brothers; skills that cannot be learned through any class, but must simply be experienced. Sigma Chi has allowed me to become more connected with campus through leadership roles that I would not have otherwise been put in. As an
outsider, I saw the many leaders present within the house, and was genuinely impressed by these gentlemen. I felt that my college career would not be fully utilized, nor my full potential met without associating myself with men of such strong character who were part of a closely bonded house. Through my time as an active, I have been constantly pushed to better myself as a student and as a person, all while creating lasting memories and more fully enjoying my time here on Hillsdale’s campus. I have since never regretted my decision to join Sigma Chi, and am constantly making an effort to give back to the organization that has given me so much.
What has been your favorite experience with Sigma Chi?—
Fall ‘08 Date Party. I was a monkey. The monkey suit has been passed down for a few years.
