Why Sigma Chi?— I never intended to join the Greek System prior to coming to Hillsdale. I had stereotypical negative connotations of alcohol abuse, over-partying, and lack of academic focus. The Greek life at Hillsdale, however, proved to rise above this stereotype. The Greek men and women were of good character, intelligent, and highly motivated. Once I decided to seriously consider a fraternity, the men of Sigma Chi stood out ais the most balanced fraternity on campus; they truly do have different temperaments, talents, and convictions. The healthy balance achieved at Sigma Chi made it my number one choice among fraternities at Hillsdale.

What has been your favorite experience with Sigma Chi?— My favorite experience of Sigma Chi is not an individual ritual, party, or event. Rather, it is the overarching experience of having the mutual recognition and support of every member of the fraternity in the attempt to achieve common goals.
