Why Sigma Chi? —
“When choosing to go Greek at Hillsdale College, there never really was an option other than Sigma Chi. The men of Alpha Kappa are an order that encompass the best and brightest on campus due to their documented excellence as leaders on campus, in the classroom, and in the community. The brotherhood that we as actives get to experience on an everyday basis was readily visible from the lunch table in Saga, to the parties on Friday night, to the volleyball courts on those balmy September afternoons, to the way we sit together in every class. It is a group that loves to be around each other, learning and laughing, all the while deepening the bonds of friendship that become the indivisible chains of brotherhood. Only the tip of the iceberg was visible when rushing my Freshman year, but Sigma Chi has surpassed all my expectations as a values based organization that cultivates a brotherhood that aspires to friendship, justice, and learning.”
What has been your favorite experience with Sigma Chi?—
“My favorite experience as a member of Sigma Chi was 2008 Formal in Traverse City. This was my first experience with Sigma Chi Formal and surpassed all expectations. That weekend was the launch pad for a series of relationships and memories that I will cherish forever.”
